Hi there!
My name is Erin. I am a photographer, a wife & a mother.
I have always loved taking pictures. In high school I had albums and albums of pictures - disposable cameras were my jam! I think this was because I loved having something tangible to take me back to that day, trip or event. I believe that a photograph should be representative of the life we are living as we believe it to be true. Photographs should exist to help remember times as we lived them.
In order to capture this for my clients, I believe much more in the candid expressions and interactions rather than the posed. Don’t get me wrong, the posed images are still very important and are the foundation that portrait photography was built. During sessions, you will experience us working together to get some great posed shots, but I also encourage all of my clients to relax and just be you! That is what I LOVE to capture an what I am inspired by. I want you to look back and remenisce about that silly face your child used to make when they were only a year old for that one week. Or what about that sweet moment between a couple when they let their guard down and forget that they are being photographed? My goal is to capture THOSE moments for you!

In sessions with me, I will also absolutely get that “everyone looking and smiling” shot!
BUT the images that I deliver that make ME the most excited? The moments that I cannot plan for. The smile that sneaks across your face when your child says something hilarious!
The way your kids look up at you when they feel safe in your lap.
These moments happen fast. They are natural and unscripted, unposed.
