My name is Erin. I am a photographer, a wife & a mother.
I have always loved taking pictures. In high school I had albums and albums of pictures - disposable cameras were my jam! I think this was because I loved having something tangible to take me back to that day, trip or event. I believe that a photograph should be representative of the life we are living as we believe it to be true. Photographs should exist to help remember times as we lived them.
In order to capture this for my clients, I believe much more in the candid expressions and interactions rather than the posed. Don’t get me wrong, the posed images are still very important and are the foundation that portrait photography was built. During sessions, you will experience us working together to get some great posed shots, but I also encourage all of my clients to relax and just be you! That is what I LOVE to capture an what I am inspired by. I want you to look back and remenisce about that silly face your child used to make when they were only a year old for that one week. Or what about that sweet moment between a couple when they let their guard down and forget that they are being photographed? My goal is to capture THOSE moments for you!

Well, my premium locations are specifically location that I hold close to my heart. One reason is because of one word, VERSATILTY!
This allows me to deliver a large gallery of diverse images with a few different background setting. For instance, all of the images in this post were from the same location! It’s possible to get a portrait session where every image doesn’t all look the same.

We were trying the beat the sunset on this one, but what a joy and a blessing to experience the Schutz’s bringing their son to their wedding reception venue! @riveroaksgardenclub
The first image was right where her bridal portraits were taken and they painted such a beautiful picture for me pointing out where the bar and seating had been set up. The best moment was there at the end, when their son started running around on the “dance floor” where his mom and dad had their very first dance.
Truly a priceless memory!
